The Interview – Dan Brennan Part 1

Interview with Dan Brennan (theFootyBlog.net) from Philip Johnston on Vimeo.

I have decided to split this interview with Dan Brennan into three parts as I dont want a video to go over 14 mins.

But Dan, a football writer & translator, is worth his on trilogy. In this part we discuss his early career, the need for translators & his time with Sergei Rebrov.

In the next two parts we discuss Henry Winter, Vladimir Romanov, Twitter & Russia 2018.

Take a look at Dan’s translating company website The Libero Language Lab

Coming next Romanov, Twitter, Henry Winter, Mourinho & Russia 2018!

Thanks to The Grosvenor Cafe for allowing us to film there.

  1. Fascinating to hear about Dan’s relationship with Serhiy Rebrov. When I lived in the same building as Shunsuke Nakamura during his time with Celtic, his translator would follow him everywhere, and seemd to be part of the family. They would play computer games and pool together too – I was never invited funnily enough!

  2. Maybe they knew you were a shark at both Mr B!

  3. Damn straight! Must also be why Naka never asked me for a game of footie either.
