If Goals Were Followers Which Team Would Win This Year’s World Cup?
If twitter followers meant goals, which team would do the best? Promotional items brand Stay Sourced have looked into who would win the Social World Cup from which team has the most accumulative followers. If you want to know more click here for Stay Sourced’s team line ups, rankings, star team and a look at social star player of the tournament Cristiano Ronaldo.
For those of you that know me and like this site, you will know I love the World Cup and I really enjoy Twitter too. That’s why I really appreciate this infographic. That said I really hope its not Spain winning the tournament again this summer!
I’m not surprised by Cristiano Ronaldo having more followers than the rest but I am a bit surprised there is no room for any other English player other than Wayne Rooney. I was also a bit surprised Wesley Sneijder has so many Twitter followers. Its interesting to note only one player (Rooney) in dream team has never played in La Liga. That is obviously the buzz league and the place to be for a footballer on Twitter and the like.
