This week I managed to get an interview with the extremely busy Jim Murphy.

Jim is an MP in the UK, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development no less. He has also just finished and brought out a fascinating book ‘The 10 Football Matches That Changed the World… and the One That Didn’t’ which looks at who football matches have changed things like state decisions, beliefs, cultures and politics.

It was great to get an hour with Jim as we discussed his book, Qatar 2022, FIFA, politics in football and how Scottish sport may or may not affect the Scottish Independence vote later this year.

The interview will be shown in two parts. Part One will focus on the book and Jim’s thoughts on the stories he covers in it. Part Two will focus on Qatar, FIFA and the rest.

Hopefully they’ll both be up soon, certainly by the middle of next week.
