Manchester United’s Paul Pogba isn’t just influential on the field, the midfielder is quite handy when it comes to persuading other superstars to Old Trafford.

The main success story is obviously Romelu Lukaku, who enjoyed an off season holiday with Pogba before signing joining Jose Mourinho’s side.

Pogba was almost successful in bringing fellow Frenchman Antoine Griezmann to Manchester until Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban was upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It remains to be seen if Man Utd will go back in for the French international in the up and coming transfer windows.

Paul refers to himself as ‘Agent P’ on social media when alluding to him trying to lure stars to United.

The Man United hierarchy could use Pogba’s negotiating skills again as Argentine forward Paulo Dybala could and should be on the club’s radar.

The Juventus man has recently stated that his future may lie away from Turin:

“I don’t know if I’ll be at Juventus for life and I can’t even say that this will not be my last year in Turin,”

Statements like that will have all of European football’s major superpowers on high alert as the creative maestro has undoubted top level ability.

This season he has bagged twelve Serie A goals in ten starts. For Juve, the twenty four year old has scored more than a goal in every two games in the Italian top flight.

Dybala is creative, quick and has that unique ability to continually find space in seemingly crowded areas.

While plenty tout him as the new Lionel Messi, he reminds me more of a young Sergio Aguero. Although when he dribbles beyond tackles he is very Messi-esque.

The attacker also has the vision to help create chances for others. He links up well with Juve strikers Gonzalo Higuian and Mario Mandzukic.

While he can play through the middle as a frontman, he’s very much suited to the number ten role. That would probably be the position for him at Old Trafford, if he were to arrive there.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan started the season in the role for United but after an impressive start the Armenian has suffered a dip in form and that’s seen him dropped from the starting line-up. Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford have since had a chance playing in behind Lukaku but neither has set the heather alight as a number ten.

Paulo could shine in that position and give United a fresh attacking impetus. It would also represent yet another burgeoning world class talent coming to the club.

So where does Pogba fit in to this? 

Well the French dynamo played with Dybala at Juve and in Italy, Paulo and Paul were dabbing partners.

They remain close and the twenty-four year old United man recently posted an image of the two stars face timing each other onto his Instagram page.

It looks as though he was just wishing his former teammate a very happy birthday but interestingly enough he also used the hashtag ‘#AgentP’.

That could be a clue that Man Utd are manoeuvring towards making Paulo Dybala a future Red Devils player.

If it isn’t, then the United board and Jose Mourinho should make him a priority transfer target.

No doubt La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will also be looking to woo the Argentine, so it could be a case of United relying on Agent P to get the job done and bring in the extremely talented forward.
